Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: ssw
Wind Stength: 14/18
Surf / Sea State: very lumpy
Air Temperature: 13
Sea Temperature: 10
Weather: cloudy(with sun for last hour)
Max Speed: 25.03 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 49 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Thursday gives me my best chance to have an afternoon session and I was at The Dip/Felixstowe rigged and ready to go by 1.30.With the ssw wind hovering around the 12/15 kt mark and the tide high making the sea very choppy I used the Xantos with 7.5 which is a nice combination for Felixstowe even if it's not the fastest on the water it's fun to sail.So I had nearly 4 hours out trying to go as fast as possible, the best run was after a beat to the Fludgers where I could sail back really broad for 3/4 miles - that made my back leg sing !!! The sun even came out for the last hour and it was good to be out with 1/2 doz. mates !!! and we even out numbered the kiters for once. The wind picked up to 18+ later and the sea was very lumpy and I would have been better off changing down to smaller kit but it was just too late in the day !!! abit disappointed with the time as my max reading was 25.42 but have improved a couple of pb's !!! Just wait until I det the Fanatic Falcon 90 out !!! but I think the sea will have to be abit flater !!!
